Congrats to the Bangor Middle school boys soccer team in earning back to back shutouts this week against Comstock and Covert!
From Coach Jackson: (MS Soccer) The Middle School Boys Soccer Team hosted the Comstock Colts on Wednesday night for their fourth game of the season. The Vikings began the game with great intensity and led the game in the first half 4-0. The Vikings continued with their intensity and scored 4 more goals in the second half to finish the game 8-0. Goals were scored by Diego Gamino, Ismael Ramirez, Santiago Ocampo, Emilio Saucedo, and Jair Velasco. The Vikings will be traveling to Holland to face the Black River River Rats on September 17th at 6:30 pm. Come out and cheer on the Vikings!

The 7th Grade Lady Vikings took on Decatur on Wednesday, September 16, and what a match it was! The girls showed incredible hard work, dedication, and determination from the first serve to the final point.
🔥 Set 1: The Lady Vikings battled hard and secured a close 25–23 victory!
💪 Set 2: The girls continued to pour their hearts into the game, but came up just short, falling 22–25.
⚡ Set 3: The Lady Vikings came out firing! Strong serving and excellent receiving helped the girls absolutely dominate the third set, finishing with a 25–15 victory and securing the match win! 🎉

After monitoring the conditions and projected heat index for the beginning of our soccer games tonight, we have made the decision to cancel both the middle school and varsity contests with Hartford. An announcement for rescheduling will be made at a later date.
As of now, middle school volleyball vs Marcellus is still on for 6pm, Mr. Cameron will be in contact with Marcellus over the next few hours to make a final decision.
All practices are still on as planned, pending the measured heat index at the end of the school day.
