Bangor Public Schools is now accepting applications for the 2026-2027 school year, with openings for K-12. Applications will be accepted now until September 4, 2026.

Summer break is here! Have a safe and fun summer break Vikings, and we'll see you on Monday, August 31 for the first day of the 2026-27 school year.

Meet up and Eat up: Throughout the summer Bangor Public Schools will provide 7 days of breakfast and lunch to all kids 18 and under or any person under 26 with special needs. Please share and spread the word!

The middle school student council students took a trip to the Al Van Humane Society on Friday, May 22. They spent time making dog treats, being educated on proper care of animals, and got some time to interact with some cats.




Congrats to the Bangor Middle School students of the Quarter! The recipients were recognized this morning during the Breakfast of Achievement event, with their families in attendance. Great job to these students for their hard work and exemplary behavior.

Next week, the Bangor Middle school bands Spring Concert will take place! Join us and hear what the students have been working on.

Please join us on Saturday, May 16th for Autism Awareness Community Connection Day! Taking place at Bangor High School ball fields.

The middle school track meet at Centreville is canceled. Practice will still take place after school.

This past weekend, we had a group of 7/8 grade students participate in MSBOA District VI Solo and Ensemble. Bravo to all of them!

Registration is still open for in-county students, and out-of-county students can begin registering tomorrow, April 24, at 8 AM.
This year’s programs include: Creation Station, Cybertech Robo-Netics, Discover Wellness, Explorations in STEM, Express Lane, Future Engineers, Graphic Design, Launch Lab: Young Entrepreneurs, #MyBusiness, Need for Speed, Rescue Camp, and Salon Extravaganza!
Career Camp gives students the opportunity to try hands-on activities, build new skills, and get a preview of programs that may connect to future educational and career plans.
